Poll: COD4 vs the Conduit

Hi guys, i was just wondering which you guys prefer, i mean they are both cult classics, but they are quite different- for example the Conduit has way better controls cos its wii but call of duty 4 has a slightly better online component, although the community is frankly horrible.

I would honestly say the conduit cos its so underrated. Its basically the Dues Ex of the best console ever.

Think you need to check your definition of cult classic. And I'm not sure I get the Deus Ex mention. Also, probably should pick which you think is better, not the most underrated, if you're going to include "vs." in the title.

Well aside from that fact that this is a VS thread, I'll give it a shot.
I simply dislike the conduit because it is an FPS for the Wii. There, nuff said.

Speaking as a HUGE fan of the Conduit, COD4 is simply superior. I'd still recommend playing the Conduit, though.

And by the by, the Conduit is more Perfect Dark than Deus Ex.

Well I could troll this. Or I could point out that neither Call of Duty 4 nor The Conduit are cult classics (neither have been around long enough for starters, especially not the Conduit.) Or I could point that the Conduit can only be compared favorably to Call of Duty 4 if you ignore objective reality.

Better controls!!!? WTF !? YOu gotta be kidding me, FPS controls for the Wii are a train wreck, you can't possibly think that they feel better than a controller. Hell I even prefer mouse and keyboard to the Wii mote, and I HATE PC controls.

Actually, the Wii Remote works quite well in Conduit. I actually prefer the Wii Remote to Dual-Analog now.

Ha ha ha... Oh you are serious? First off neither are "Cult classics", one is extremely successful and popular, the other one is a mediocre. The conduit is not underrated, it's just not good. I can hardly believe that you just compared the Conduit to Halo, as much as I'm in disbelief that this thread compared the Conduit to COD4. As much of a Halo hater I am, it is simply foolish to think that TC is anywhere near Halo status, never mind COD4 status (hell, most CODs are better than TC).

And you seem to imply that Halo is a good game; Even though this is subjective, I'd rather not dwell on it.

I'm just saying that if the Wii had to have one game that they could champion as their version of Halo, that'd be it.
