Now my Question is, Do you find this slightly morbid/disturbing/dark.

i honestly was extremely uncomfortable watching this...

EDIT: ok a lot of people don't really find it that offensive it seems, i don't know maybe im just sensitive about the subject of murdering babies, :p
Anyway anyone care to offer their opinion on this banned Simpsons intro?

Offensive isn't the right word for it. I don't see how anything about it can offend anyone...but yes it is a bit dark.

Also, the Simpson intro was not banned. In fact it is probably one of the best intros the Simpsons have ever had. It was poignant and ballsy and Banksy is just a genius.

I have always loved pitch dark humour; for instance I love Michael Haneke's Funny Games remake and his original is near the top of my "must see" list. This is as dark as it comes, and I found it quite funny.

Stupid, slightly disgusting, but that's about the extent of this. It's not even remotely suggestive of reality.

Silly, but not offensive. I'd be worse if it was in some way believable, but its College Humor, supposed to be dumb and funny.

Wasn't funny like rolling on the floor kinda funny but it did get a shocked laugh out of me which seems to be its intent so ... success!

I hate it when screaming babies ruin movies. I tell the parents to leave. I tend to leave my gun at home when going to the theater though.

Most films are usually in two cinemas during opening weekends anyway.

It's...weird. At least...to its credit,it didn't provide a true video. Overall, I'd say it's not that big a deal. I mean, at least me know it's a joke, right?

Didn't really find it funny OR disturbing. Probably because it was a radio or w/e. If they actually made a video version, and the guy shot a baby, then yeah that would be over the top.

Wasn't at all uncomfortable with the video. A situation like that is just so far from reality that I think it would be hard to take offense at all.

I'd comment on the Simpsons' intro not being an official or real one, but I'm sure that the masses have already repeated it countless times.

Well to be honest I assume that if you find it disturbing you are not part of the target audience. As the name implies "College Humor" targets people ages 18 all the way up to somewhere around 26ish. So just as you may not understand or be able to relate to many of their other videos, you would not find this entertaining.

(Also as someone who is part of the target audience I found it to be hysterical)
Im actually in university...as a film student, i get the joke trust me i just find it kinda...unsettling...
Well be that as it may, the point I was kind of going for is that a good number of the jokes on College Humor follow the same kind of sick demented humor (mostly the older ones) and so if you weren't drawn to the site in the first place by the jokes, how would you have seen the video, outside of obviously being posted here in The Escapist. It would be not dissimilar to going to a porn site then complaining about all the nudity.

Darker than my usual stuff but I thought it was hilarious. It crosses the line, looks back, and sets it on fire.
