My girlfriend got me a pair of Gunnar pipelines for Xmas and so far they have worked. They aren't quite as yellow tinted as the pictures suggest and they seem to be polarized slightly as well as having a slight magnification. Admittedly I felt like a complete toolbox for wearing them to a Forza 24 hour Enduro tournament but after 18 hours at the wheel I noticed how many people were rubbing their eyes at pit stops. I frankly believe my Gunnars won that tournament for me. If you stare at a screen for long periods of time and have the money to spend they do work for cutting down the glare as well as sharpening the color contrast. There are negatives to consider though, Like every one and their uncle will ask you if they work even if you are in the middle of a race and finger prints on the lenses become huge blurry spots.

I have no need of anything like that. If I ever did, I'd use my prescription glasses as I'm short sighted instead. I really don't think I should comment on whether or not they look good. I honestly have 0 fashion sense, and so long as they are practical go for it.
I have a pair of onyx weezer. And they do work. There is a small +2 magnification, they are polarized as many computer glasses usually are, and the tint is for increase contrast and filtering the light that hits your eyes.
You won't regret buying them, but if you are worried about the look try their crystaline glasses.

Go see your optician first, and make sure you don't need glasses/new glasses. Getting glasses helped me a lot. Like, a lot.
Gunnar glasses help against the whitebalancing of monitors (the blue lights is the most abundant and piercing), and reduce the glare when working in situations with bad environmental lighting (slight polarisation, more even overall lighting). I'd say worth a try if normal glasses aren't working, but again: talk to your optician first, he/she might have some recommendations too.
