Wouldn't it be cool if a requirement to hold an office in the House or the Senate was to join a special online forum and post regularly? It's not terribly complicated for the older, less savvy, members and would probably be a great read.

There wouldn't be the same rules online that keep the representatives in line during hearings, so we'd get to see our elected officials become trolls. I wonder who would become the grammar nazi... who would be the jokesters... who would only talk in txt-msg speak. I would also enjoy such threads as "Does anyone remember how the vote for our pay next year came out?"
I'd certainly visit that forum on a regular basis just to read the new topics. Would you? Also, do you think regular people should be allowed to post? What would we call such a forum?
