Everyone has a preference, and the whole PC VS console thing seems to come down to controls.

Please don't turn this topic into a flame war.

I fully agree, everyone I know, myself included wouldn't play a Wii game unless you gan use a Gamecube controller.

With WiiMotionPlus I bet the wiimote will be the best. I already like it better than control sticks, it feels so much more natural. Granted, there are no games to play...

I HATE mouse and keyboard.

Mouse + Keyboard. Occasionally use my gamepad, but only when a console port doesn't support M+KB (DMC3, RE4). Usually I just use it for platformers and sports games (Psychonauts, PoP, PES), other genres (shooters, RTS, RPG) still get the usual mouse + keyboard combo.

Tried replaying PoP Sands with a gamepad (I played it through with M+KB ages ago), I just didn't feel it control well, it was pretty weird.

Well, I prefer all of them. I like the keyboard and mouse control for shooters because aiming is so natural and intuitive, which is why I like Halo a lot, since it successfully converted keyboard+mouse controls into an Xbox controller. The Wii remote and nunchuck configuration for FPS games work wonders(not on games like Red Steel and MoH: Vanguard), as Metroid Prime 3 and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 showed. I prefer gamepads these days for 3rd person shooters, sports games, adventure/action games, and fighting games, but the touch screen shows a level of versality. But i'm gonna go out on a limb and say... controller

Im sticking with the controller, just because it was the first input that I ever learned to game well with, and it feels natural to me now.

what bullshit the PC vs console thingy comes down to what games you like and thus chosing the system where the kind of games you like are released on.

yeah, maybe if you're just a shooter fan you can choose with only controls in mind...

I've never been so depressed over people agreeing with me. What happened to this site?

I think it depends on the game more than the control scheme. KB and Mouse is my favourite but I play FPS alot. Fighting, racing, and sports games are better IMO with a gamepad. I also play flight sims so I use a joystick to.
