The question is basically have you been to a convention of any kind, like Youmacon, Otakon, Comic-Con etc. I haven't been to one, but most of them do look fairly awesome.

My friends went to PAX last summer and I didn't go, and they won't hesitate to remind each other of all the good times they had there when I'm around. They're going again this summer, and I plan to be there.

I went to my first con this year (PAX). And I loved it, I then went to an Atheist con. I can't wait to find more. Also, FUCK WILL WHEATON. For the record.

I went to a comic book convention in Leeds... I felt completely underdressed BUT I did see 2 guys dressed as Storm Troopers and said "I believe I just saw the droids you were looking for".

I've never gone to one, but I think they could be a ton of fun with a good attitude. I doubt I'd dress up as anything for one, but I'd go and be a nerd.

I went to some comic convention in Manchester, NH one time. Kinda cool, I didn't dress up though.

Every year I go to Otafest and Animethon. I occasionally go to Anime North but not every year (But I do love the train ride getting there =D)

I've been to a couple of pop culture conferences with my dad, but other than those no. I don't live in a really major city, so I don't get many nearby conventions.

No. I might gather my resources and go to MCM in May as I've wanted to for years, but preferably only if I can gather a party for the excursion.
Actually when I was about 9 or 10 my family went to a sci-fi convention, but that was mainly to meet a relative (bizarrely.) I still remember buying Star Wars Episode 1 merch, eurgh...

I volunteer at SD Comic Con. Been going for about five years (minus one for being overseas).

I've been to a few, but I always end up falling out with my friends because they start acting like douchebags the second they set foot anywhere near a convention, so I'm not really too enthusiastic about them anymore.

Once to a comic-con due to my dad working at Indigo Books. I was made fun of by nerds in costume mocking me for the lack of costume.

I then meet Spock and I'm hailed as god.

I'm not going again.
