Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the general "rule" of "being cool" to not actually admit you are and by doing so you automaticially void any coolness you might have had?

Cool is kinda a high school/clique thing anyway. I either like people or I dont, "coolness" (if by cool you mean popularity, fashion sense etc.) isn't really a factor.
