I don't mind co-op in games. But since I don't know anyone that plays games, and I won't bother with the random asshats that make it a terrible experience, I can't utilize it.
What about it do you not enjoy? The only problems I've had is connection/lag issues but otherwise I enjoy it co-op.Ilikemilkshake said:The Co-op in dark souls is terrible. So im glad its optional.
So yeah, im all for optional Co-op
Thanks, I'll fix that.Psycho-Toaster said:All for it.
Also, it's "Yea or Nay," not "Yay or Nay."
My friend and I have tried almost all the co-op shooters out on 360 now, but this is the only reason we haven't played 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. It might be for the best.Ariseishirou said:I love co-op. I just got done playing Resistance 3 with my roommate co-op. What I hate about co-op is how many of them are online only these days. I will seriously not purchase a game for that reason only. Some of us have real life friends. And no, we're not going to buy two tvs and two PS3s just we can play together in the same bloody living room.
Sorry, I just had to.Zantos said:[...] it's nice to play with yourself sometimes.
Well you cant choose who you play with.. so if you want to play with friends its not gonna happen. Because you cant choose who you play with, its terribly unreliable who you get, sometimes you'll get a level 100 who does all the work for you, or you get a total idiot who dies in 3 seconds. To actually play with someone else, you need to be human. That would be fine if humanity werent so hard to come by, the only really reliable way to get humanity is by getting summoned into someone elses game and beating a boss... and sometimes it can take 20+ minutes to get summoned into a game.Aeope said:What about it do you not enjoy? Why do you say that? I'm not disagreeing but I'd like to hear your opinion.Dimitriov said:I can't believe only 4% have said no... I loathe co-op in games.
PC seems to get shafted on a lot of co-op doesn't it? It's kind of hard to put splitscreen on something like that, and most people don't have the technical know-how or budget to build an actual gaming PC.Wuggy said:For me it's a bit complicated. I would love to play co-op on plenty of games. However, I'm pretty much the only one I know who plays on PC and not on, say, the 360. So, while I'm all for co-op, I don't have anyone to play with, and thus have to pass on games like Borderlands and Left 4 Dead.
You've basically read my mind and wrote it on here for me. Thank you.Michael Hirst said:Some of my most fun experiences on videogames have been in co-op. Streets of Rage 2 its a great game but quite frankly I can get bored after 3 or so levels alone, with a bro though it's so much better especially when you "accidently" use your friend as a missile to knock down a group of enemies.
Co-op is also the only reason I still play Dynasty Warriors at all. Just something about having a bro to play with and compete for kill counts with is great.
Timesplitters games were always much more fun on 2 player, even the story modes improved vastly just by having a friend with you. I don't even like Halo but co-op'ing the story mode is something I've always done with friends.
NOTE: Co-op play is always better when you're in the same room, split screen might narrow your view but actually socialising with a person makes up for any view on screen that's lost.
