Is Valve finally giving serious thought to a new counter-strike upgrade?

What features/gameplay elements etc. would you be looking out for?

Valve is making a new FPS called L4D (Left for dead) and I think it will be the successor to CS. Although I wouldn't mind if they made a new CS ^_^

Would be awesome if they made of a port of the original Half Life onto next-gen consoles, especially with the multiplayer

L4D won't succeed CS. It's not going to be as competitive, I think. It's too asymmetrical.

That said, I'm not a fan of CS in any form, so if they don't give it a new incarnation, I'll be just as happy.

I'm not a big fan of Counter Strike, could only tolerate it when playing with IRL friends.
