Poll: Crysis 2 Online

Just got Crysis 2 today. I just got to level 5 so I'm not quite sure what I think of the online experience, or whether it will thrive or be quickly forgotten.

Just need to know what the group thinks so I can either beat the campaign and keep it for the multi, or beat it as quickly as possible and sell it while the trade value is at its highest.

I am not going to answer the poll because I tried it and felt like it would be great except for one issue: can't find local servers so my lag is terrible. Too bad really because the levels look like fun.

I would be interested to know what others think though, so I know how much I am missing out on.

I'm not a huge multiplayer fan. Now, F.E.A.R. 3's multiplayer I can get behind, but that's another topic. Anyway, I tried the multiplayer and I must admit, I didn't really care for it. I enjoyed it at first--calling out the positions of the enemy teams from the top of the lighthouse was a blast. However, I started to notice something. I used a sniper rifle and was able to kill people from a pretty far distance. But then, someone with an assault rifle was able to snipe me from across the map. This happened more than once, to the point where I gave up trying to be a sniper and switched to an assault rifle. Yet even then, I would empty half of my magazine into someone and they wouldn't die (no, they didn't have armor on), but they would turn around and drop me in a second. Honest, there were several times where I started shooting someone IN THE BACK and they were still able to kill me before I got them. Maybe I just suck, but I think there's something off with the hit detection in that game. I have not picked up the multiplayer since.

I remember when I was only at level 5 in the multiplayer for Crysis 2, and trust me on this, just give it some time. Once you unlock some decent weapons and equipment you'll find that it's one of the best multiplayer experiences around. Personally speaking, I strongly prefer it over Halo or COD. It's a blast, and if you give it a little more time I'm sure you'll absolutely love it, and if you're playing it on the 360 feel free to add me, my gamertag is Kpt Rob, and I'd be happy for someone to play with.

I've been meaning to give Crysis 2's MM a try. Problem is I've been busy and keep hearing horror stories about the online side of it.

I dont play COD or Halo anymore myself. But Crysis im enjoying quite a lot, granted I believe its novelty will wear off soon but i'm at least glad I am playing something at tiny bit different to the standard shooter.
New mechanics are always nice

It was impressively bad.

Everyone is incredibly fragile and falls apart in three shots to the little toe in armor mode. It kind of makes the nanosuit entirely pointless and it's just a bunch of tards running in circles shooting each other like in CoD.
