I can't decide which one to get so, I want you to decide for me. I will be buying it for the xbox
Totally off topic, DAT AVATAR. Man, I don't hear enough about that game these days. Pure brilliance.Generic Gamer said:Crysis 2 is a damn fun shooter, albeit with problems. I've not heard much good about Brink but I'm sure it'll be a fine game in a few months after the kinks are ironed out.
Either's a fine choice but I rather like Crysis 2, though the enemies are impressively thick. They're dumber than Quake 1 bad guys, thicker than pigshit! I think it's a glitch in the AI scripting for handling cloak-mode.
You might have the same problem I am having, you need to find a way to manually update the game, for some reason for some people the game thinks it updated and it didn't and thus there are no games/servers left in the list.TheTaco007 said:Crysis 2's online is DEAD. I couldn't find a single match on it. (PC)
If you want singleplayer, go with Crysis. Multiplayer, go with Brink. It's supposed to have some lag issues on console, though, so go with PC if you can. If not, you may have to deal with shitty servers.
Weird. How did you get it to update?Rednog said:You might have the same problem I am having, you need to find a way to manually update the game, for some reason for some people the game thinks it updated and it didn't and thus there are no games/servers left in the list.TheTaco007 said:Crysis 2's online is DEAD. After updating there were a hefty amounts of people/servers playing. Granted there aren't hundreds of servers, but I think I saw at least like 50 or so.
I honestly don't recall since I'm like 2,000 miles away from my gaming computer. I don't remember a step by step process but it had something to do with deleting a file that told the game it was the current version and then launching the game with the autoupdater exe.TheTaco007 said:Weird. Hmmm.... I'll try to figure it out. I can probably google it. I'm relatively new to the whole PC thing, but other than stuff like this, it's great.Rednog said:I honestly don't recall since I'm like 2,000 miles away from my gaming computer. Yea, PC gaming usually isn't an obscene hassle (besides the occasional terrible DRM), EA just is terrible at supporting their games and solving problems when they crop up, like this update nightmare.TheTaco007 said:Hmmm.... Yeah, I've never liked EA, even on non-PC games. Their servers kept not loading all my weapon unlocks on BC2, even on the xbox 360. It pisses me off.Rednog said:Yea, PC gaming usually isn't an obscene hassle (besides the occasional terrible DRM), EA just is terrible at supporting their games and solving problems when they crop up, like this update nightmare.TheTaco007 said:Hmmm....
