I guess it depends on the girl in question. Like during my highschool's homecoming week, for Around the World day, this short girl dressed up as an eskimo. She was sooooooo cute in the outfit that I gave her the nick-name "Chibi"(I don't call her that out loud, only in my head).

Can someone show me an example of one, that doesn't show the other as well?
Megan Fox. I defy anyone to seriously describe her as cute
A fair point, but I wouldn't really call her all that sexy either. Just my opinion.

I'd also say Tina Fey does cute really well and is certainly hot in the "hot librarian" mindset, but she doesn't really do sexy. Which is a good thing. It gives her more comedic credibility I think.

That depends on my relationship with the person. If it's romantic, sexiness, as the cuter someone is, the more I associate them with children, which is a turn off. If it's friendship, cuteness, because that's easy on the eyes yet does not spark lust.

Cute, hands down. I cant really explain why though, i have never had the need to think about it i guess. I think its because i care more about the face? i really cant say because i dont know. One theory is when i see a really cute girl i just want to hug and snuggle, while a super hot girl all want to do is bone. Although that does not give a reason for why i prefer cute to sexy. Man OP your really making me think right now! You know what? fuck it, i dont need a reason, i just prefer cuteness.

It really depends on the lady in question, though usually the cute aspect tends to be relegated into personality rather than physical features.

i say cute but only if the cuteness factor can break my mental resistance....sexy usually does anyway so wheres the challenge for them?

Why not just prefer both in one package, like this one [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2225369/] for example.
Now that right there is some good logic to learn from.

I always go with cute, there are quite a few girls who feel they can be assholes just because they're sexy.

I'm currently going out with a Girl who's kinda in-between, which I like and prefer to going overly one way or the other.
Too Sexy usually makes me think that the person is trying to hard, which (a lot of the time for me) is usually a sign of a weak (or at least weaker than usual) personality.
Too Cute usually gives off that the person might still have a bit of a more childish mindset, and going for the "Everything's pretty and pink!".

Hopefully you all can forgive me for sounding like a total d-bag, but I personally prefer elegance and beauty to cute or sexy.

I think there is a difference and I definitely prefer cute.

Cute kinda has a small undertone of personality that goes along with it

Easy- hot for a fling, cute for a relationship.

Besides, I challenge anyone to see a cute girl/guy with their clothes off and not decide they're pretty damn hot anyway.

Cute. I feel more comfortable around people I find cute than people I find sexy.

I think Meghan Mccain is both, personally.
Honestly, not sure how to answer either, fairly nebulous concepts IMO. I like girls who are cute but can pull sexy off w/ ease?

Since I don't really view anyone as sexy I'll have to say cute.

It's the actions, being and behaviour I fall for though.

Cute, but frequently I end up finding cute girls as sexually attractive, but they're sexy in that case, I don't think thats what you're going for here though.

If we assume cute meaning an attractive girl who doesn't dress to attract attention and is still good looking and we assume sexy to be one who purposefully dresses in such away as to draw attention to her body then I much prefer cute.
