I'll be the black equivalent to being a Togusa (from SAC) in this situation... I'll [probably] have the cyberbrain to cyber-communicate with those within [my] frequency, for example, but that's about it... I'm trying to stay as natural as possible until science can make me shapeshift on a human scale...

Other than that... uh...

Could any of them make me a shapeshifter from a sexual perspective, at least? If so, then yes... If not, then I'll stick with duel-padding...

Other than that, it would be cool to be like Marceline... only with the mortality of Bonnie...

What were we talking about? Cyber penis? That will please the partners.
I hear The Rumbler is popular.

OT: Cybernetics all the way. I've spent so much time dreaming of awesome parts. Legs filled with compressed air to negate kinetic fall damage, piston forearms a la Big O for that "Umph" in your punch. Coolant system for those hot terrains and operating with mild core reflux to warm you up in the tundras. Not to mention mechanical UI interface, CPU boosted reflexes, and eyes that could do a HUGE amount of things.

The only way I would go genetics is if I could inFamous myself and have Logia-like powers like Enel.

Gene splicing, then use handheld technology which would still exist with faster reflexes / better senses. No worries about hacking / maintenance / upgrades.

Probably gene splicing. Getting cybernetics just seems like it would require far too much cleaving and removing of body parts for me to get behind. If I lost my leg or something? Fuck yeah, make me a cyborg.

Cybernetics, praise the Machine God in all his glory! :D

I'd go the cybernetics route personally. Rather fond of stuff like that from Ghost in the Shell, Robocop and the Skitarii from 40K. I do like the idea of having a on board music player built into my body so a MP3 player or whatever could be hooked up to it. Would love to blare the Robocop theme as I blast mutant cannibals with some onboard weapons.

Gene splicing, I don't like the idea of losing senses I understand for ones I don't. The sense of touch comes to mind when replacing limbs with artificial ones. The idea of just knowing how much strength I'm exerting without actually feeling it freaks me out.

I'd probably go with cybernetics. A lot of the animal powers can be replicated with technology and even they can't compete with a surprise wrist missile. Is there a risk of becoming addicted to implants? Yes, but to quote Wilhelm from Borderlands: TPS "Laugh now, but I'll be the one shooting lasers out of my eyes while you're all dying of Turbocancer!"

My initial response was neither because I'm comfortable living as an unmodified human for the rest of my life.

If a situation arises where I will need augmentation, either of the technological or genetic variety, to survive/live everyday life, then I'd be a little more open to it.

I'm not getting a usb port sticking out of back of my head or cat ears, though, I don't care how 'uncool' that will make me.
