This is for people that have read any of Dan Brown's books. Which of the four did you find to be the best. For myself it would be Angels and Demons because that was the first of his books I read. After I finished reading Angels and Demons I read his other book and found Angels and Demons to be my favourite of them. Next being Deception Point, Digital Fortress and the one I didnt really like was The Da Vinci Code.

So yeah which of his books to you like the most is any?

I've read Da Vinci and Angels & Demons, it seems he can only write one type of story, he's a decent writer just low on ideas.

Angels and demons is my favourite, i've all of them except deception point.

It was an added bonus that my class went to rome a few months before i read the book, so when i read it i could actually remember how some of the stuff he mentioned looked like.

Yeah that's quite true. All the books really follow the format of big mystery, people think they know who the bad guy is then at the end it turns out to be someone unexpected.

I'd have to say Da Vinci Code...
Angels and Demons...
Well, after the part where the symbology professor jumped out of a helicopter with an antimatter bomb so he could save the world of science from the evil pope...I lost my ability to take it seriously.
Dan Brown is like eating a shitload of cheesecake all at once. It's awesome at the time, and then afterwards you're like 'uuugh why did I eat that; that was horrible; wtf is wrong with me'.

He's a decent storyteller, I guess, but he's really not that great a writer.

I enjoyed Digital Fortress, as well as Angels and Demons. The DaVinci code was a decent story, but I only read it once.

I've read all four. I think A&D where the one I liked the most.

Non of them is very well writen tough. Itäs not like he is going to get the Noble-Price or anything.

I really enjoyed Digital Fortress. It was a neat take on the cyber-conspiracy thing. I've enjoyed all of the books I've read by him though.

I don't really like his books that much... though I found Da'Vinci a much more compelling read than A&D.

Angels and demons was awsome, I really enjoyed the way the story played out, seeing as I read it when I was 11. For some reason I found digital fortress the worst, the action comes to a big build up and then the problem is solved so simply that I guessed the code but thought that would be too easy to be the answer.

Why can you chose none but not all?

I liked Angels and demons best anyway.
Have not read Digital Fortress.

Read the Da Vinci Code. Was poorly written but relatively interesting plot. Kept going because of the pre-blurb that said 'this is not a true story but here are some interesting historical facts'. When I found out the historical facts were all wrong I felt a little bit cheated.

There's better things out there, go read them instead. The man has too much money and too little talent.

William Dietrich is a much better author of thrillers based on Psuedo History... also Ethan Gauge is an awesome hero.

Dan's books are pretty good. Mostly because they are very easily read and I'm normally a horrible reader. Neither is Nobel Prize quality, but they're all pretty good to pick up if you're on a boring trip or forced to read something of your own choice at school.

Gonna go with Angels and Deamons as the best. Though the ending was a little over the top it was all kind of satisfying, plus having been to Rome shortly before I read it made it a little more interesting. The religion/secret society related plots are really more interesting than the other ones, it gives a whole other sense of mysticism.
