Poll: Darksiders: Missing mystery code card?

After hearing a couple of friends talking about some wierd code they found in their copy of Darksiders, it got me wondering what code? I looked it up and apparently THQ were to give away these codes with the first copies of the game. I bought my copy on the 8th, the date it was released in the UK, so to me that should count part of the first run.

The rumour mill has been churning out some awesome things about that these codes will do, so I'm kinda disapointed that I didn't get one.
Has anybody else found this to be the case?

My copy of the game contained no codes in it and I picked it up a couple days after it was released, but I'm going to assume the codes were given out as a pre-order bonus.

Well I'm still a tad annoyed that I didn't get anything, it better not be anyhing too great.

On another note, anybody who did't get the "preorder code" for Death's scythe, at the enter code screen, input "The Hollow Lord" and you can buy it from Vulgrim for 0 souls.
So much for it being an exclusive preorder bonus.

Note that I didn't actually get that code from the preorder bonus either, I found if on Gamefaqs cheats section for the game.
Just thought I'd spread the word.

i bought it today and the games have been at best buy for a while and i got a code...so sucks to be you i guess, i didn't even realize what it was at first when i got it, i almost tossed the code out till i saw it said to hang onto it, anybody know if its all the same code or different special stuff?

Maybe it was for pre-orders or collectors editions?

i know if you preorded it from game you got a code to unlock a weapon
