Poll: Dead space 2...Multiplayer?!

seriously why? I mean out of all the games you could think of why dead space?

ok to be fair in an article I read the people did explicitly state that single player wouldn't suffer and this wasn't just something tacked on last minute but still I get the feeling of adding online crap to games where there in no need

and if they add multiplayer to mass effect 3 I'm going to murder somone

I heard the multiplayer is actually really good. Works a lot like Versus mode in L4D.

tacked on multiplayer might as well be international law with how prevalent it is now. im not surprised in the least; especially in these troubled times, publishers demand as much copying of the popular guy as possible. if it doesnt copy an online FPS in someway, good luck getting someone to fund it.

ive got my alibi worked out for that ME3 potential nightmare, OP. i'll need it considering how likely it is that EA will tack on online MP to it.

And you believed them? Maybe it's just the the deep bitter cynic who's always suspects the worst of people until they prove otherwise in me(At least that's what people say as though it's my fault most people are horrible), but I never trust anyone that stands to make money on you believing them unless they've proven they are in fact trustworthy on similar things amny times before.

EA is pressing all its subordinates to have an online function in Every game they release. To be honest though, A versus mode in Dead Space could be an amazing thing. Getting pounced by a necromorph that was hiding above the entrance to my objective would more than likely scare the shit out of me. So I'm onboard.

I'm realy getting sick of multipyayer,i mean it i have just had enough with the dimishing single player in games and how "it's not cool intill i can play with my friends bro" attitude.

If you want to add a good multiplayer section ON TOP OF a good singplayer exexperience fine but for the love of god don't make multiplayer the prime aspect,allow it to dimish the campagin, or do it just because.

Dead Space does not seem like the type of game that should have a multiplayer mode in it. I thought the same thing about Assassins Creed as well but the multiplayer turned out pretty good. The multiplayer for Dead Space 2 may turn out to be really good as well.

The only issue I have with multiplayer is that sometimes the single player suffers. The single player for Assassins Creed: Brotherhood seemed pretty short. I like the single player but I wish it would have been longer.

I heard it was somewhat like L4D. Dunno if thats a good or a bad thing yet so we'll have to see when it comes out.
