Poll: Dead Space uno or Dead Space 2?

I just wanted to start a poll seeing weather people prefer the original Dead Space or Dead Space 2. Do you like how the developers have added on to Dead Space with new enemies, locales, or weapons? Or, do you think that the game's Fright-Factor is detracted by the semi-familiar scenery? Leave your comments!

Dead Space 2. It's got all the best parts of the first game with improved gameplay, better characterisation and better pacing.

Pretty much this. And the only reason why you would play the first one is to get some references made to the USG Ishimura and stuff like that and that's why the devs put in a "Previously on Dead Space" video that you can watch. It gives you the basic story of the first game and gets you up to speed. The first one was alright, but the second one is just infinitely better.
