Deadliest Warrior? It's fun, but I wish the "experts" on either side weren't such dicks to each other. I like the idea, and the tests are fun to watch, but the douchbaggery almost upsets the enjoyment.

I agree, they take it way too seriously.

But I do like the show even if I disagree with the end results half the time.

Sky's the limit. I like the first choice, but it would make more sense to have SS vs. KGB.

the show is pretty good but I find that they might put two way too different fighting styles against each other, an example of this would by the spartan against the ninja, they say it right on the show that the spartan works in groups of at least like 100 or so, the ninja's worked in groups of maybe 2 to 5 (don't call me on this but I never heard of a army of ninja's)

It's nothing but stupid manly bravado across generations as a grown up excuse to have Pirates VS Ninjas as a legitimate test, or at least as legitimate as can be by the standards of Spike TV or Bravo, which is to say, as legitimate as any question would be in any men's magazine that does not have the word "Health" anywhere on the cover.

And that's something we like to see now and again because goddamnit we pondered this shit as kids and MUST KNOW.
Of course I barely saw any of it due to Spike's website NOT WORKING FOR ME AND PLUGGING FOUR FUCKING COMMERCIALS THAT WERE THE EXACT SAME THING until I gave up.

Its a fun little show. The people who don't like it seem to be taking it way to seriously. The show knows what it is, a BS fanboy battle, and thats all it tries to be. Sure you can argue that they aren't being historical or blah blah blah but come the fuck on its for entertainment...just watch fake heads and torsos get chopped up and be happy people. Plus the mock battles at the end are fun to watch.

Edit: About the Taliban/Irish thing...who the hell cares...ZOMG controversy because they picked Taliban wtfbbq guyz!!! Wait don't tell me were you some of the guys crying because of that Six Days to Fallujah(Sp?) game too.

Don't care about the Taliban. I have yet to see a game based on the 200+ years of sectarian violence in Ireland. I wonder why?

I agree with that. Their bad acting grates on my nerves with sandpaper. I guess they gotta act like they hate each other, so then one side is surprised when a mafioso beats a yakuza with a baseball bat.

Basically a forum for men to be as manly as possible without being called on it. Gotta love Spike and it's one-dimensional appeal (though I guess it counts as a comedy channel too).

EDIT: What I want to see are completely irrational matchups. I.e. chicken nuggets vs. Yakuza, wooden outhouse vs. People's Liberation Army...
