I believe that is what's happening, I can't cite a specific article but I read that somewhere. It said that after Rising came out they'd rerelease the other 4 MGS games on the 360.

I would say be thankful we at least got one of the Mother games. It would be nice if they did re-release them all here, but if I remember correctly, Nintendo said it never would.

It would be cool though if they released Earthbound onto the Wii Virtual console. Or maybe some kind of DS Three pack of the Mother series or along with that a three pack on a Wii disc. I guarantee it would make them a boat load of money.

As for the Microsoft, what collections are you looking for, because I don't own a PS3, so I don't know what you are talking about.

The only games I download off of Live are games that aren't released on disc. They would have to discontinue using discs and cases for me to start downloading my games from live.

I like to have insurance, just in case something bad happened to my system.

I'd like to get one of the new 360's, but after what one of my friends told me when his old one ringed after 3 or so years just recently, I think I will wait until it is necessary. What happened was, he transferred his old hard drive contents to his new hard drive, but it corrupted all his DLC stuff, because Microsoft doesn't allow for that to be possible. So, he will either have to buy it all again, or go through a length process with Microsoft.

Microsoft get your head out of your asses and make it easier to quit xboxlive and also when you spend money on xbla you spend it with dollars and not points it will make people more willing to spend money.

Sony... Keep up the good work with Team Ico and you should look into making an Ape Escape collections

I see what you mean. It would be nice Kotor I might not get since I already have it. I wasn't around for the original Xbox so I don't know what could be put into a bundle. Though I do know, at least on Amazon.com, that they make bundles of relatively new games. For awhile I was considering on getting their Saints Row Bundle, which includes 1 and 2 for like 30 bucks, but I ended up getting the Dragon Age Ultimate Edition(includes everything and the kitchen sink) for 30 bucks because of a past 20 buck game credit I had saved. It wasn't a bundle, but I also liked that I ended up getting Mass Effect 1 and 2 for 40 bucks together.

But as I said, I don't know anymore to figure out bundles. I know sometime in the future(guessing) they will probably have something called the Halo Universe Edition(If you use this name Microsoft/Bungie, I expect a paycheck) or something like that which will included everything Halo, which is an insane amount of stuff.

I have only one letter to the three companies.

Dear Big Three. Please stop with the exclusive titles, and just release all future games for all three consoles (and PC), and rerelease all previous exclusive titles for all the other consoles too. Because I, like most other people, don't see any sort of fairness in having to buy a whole new console just for the sake of playing one or two games we're interested in that are exclusive titles. Plus, it'll benefit you guys in the long run when you make much more revenue because people are more inclined to buy cross-platform games that were previously unavailable to them than they are in buying a new console for the sake of a single game.

I'll tentatively answer "yes" to the poll. I'm not sure if MGS 1 and 2 should be as much "remade (assuming given MGS4 style,) as they should just get a slight graphical upgrade and be released on current systems (or more likely just PS3) with MGS3. I really. want. those. games.
If MGS 1 and 2 were to be "remade," I think that something should be done to keep their formulae the same, because they are quite different from MGS 3 and 4 in terms of gameplay mechanics. So yeah, I'd say that graphical upgrades are really all that need happening, maybe a few revamps in terms of controls.

Also, Nintendo: You're free to go through your intellectual property as long as you do your best to mix things up.

Sony: See the above demand for a PS3 release of the first 3 MGS. And Ratchet & Clank and all those other good classics. I'd likely buy all of them.

Microsoft: Idk, make consoles that actually work?

All of you: get to work on making a single console that'll be a platform for everyone to use. A stellar example right there of why free-market capitalism can fuck things up, because that will likely never happen at the will of any of those companies.
