Poll: Defcon

It's two in the morning here and I should be going to bed (I mean it's CHRISTMAS) but I've just come from the most delightful piece of ass-kicking I've ever had. Many of you know this game as Defcon. It's too early for me to do justice to this game but I'll settle now for asking your opinion on this lubberly, lubberly game of thermonuclear MADness.

Good game - much more fun playing with a group of people you know. For my money, this game is best played in (I think) real time at the office with 5-7 friends. Lasts the workday, you update at lunch time or so.

As for playing at Christmas? Don't think so. Good you're having fun with it, though.

It's fun, although I always lose because I suck.

It takes the better parts of Risk and Battleships: both of which get boring by themselves, but provide a lethal combination in pairing.

Saint Thomas's sake I remember when I first saw this thread and didn't post.

Defcon is definitely one of the most awesome made of awesomes ever conceived, although it's not Christmas.
