Poll: Define a Vampire

What is a vampire? Is he/she a sparkly emo? Are they puppets that teach you how count or do they just want to have you for lunch?
what do you think is a vampire?

I'd define a vampyre as something that needs to draw sustenance from other living creatures.
So I would not limit it to one thing.
Of course, there is the Count, but he draws sustenance from the minds of small children who watch him.

Yeah I go with Bram Stoker's Dracula. A badass blood sucking monster (depending on viewpoint) that manipulates people and can change form and can do all sorts of things but just can not handle sun very well.
