As a writer I've been flummoxed by several things over the years in videogames, the most notable of these was the ME3 ending fiasco. While that was a disappointment lets focus on the future in this thread, I want to write a single player RPG game of a Mass Effect caliber. To do this I need to know what gamers want, while I can't follow every single desire as a writer I can follow a theme and setting.
Explaining the options and how I will utilize poll results.
The first four options are setting options, the latter four are theme options. I will compare and contrast the most popular choices to arrive at the final setting, for example if the most popular choices were steampunk and magic by a wide margin I might come up with a setting where magic not steam has fueled the industrial revolution.
I must note that for me to consider the poll a viable representation of the gamer community that the number of pollsters must at least 300+ voters. A poll with only a few dozen voters is not a good representation by any stretch...
