You can't judge the whole community based on that, I mean you can but that wouldn't be fair xD

i thought it was fair bro, he hasn't been banned while other beautiful users such as snapesnogger and alot of other imaginative fan artists have been banned

even its name implies something, just type in these words ''fine art'' into its search bar. i bet most of the images will either be porn or anime.

Actually I just found several groups of "Nazi-Loving" artists on this site and they won't get banned because they managed to not violate any of the rules? Which seems to be none! XD

According to the rules your not allowed to make racist comments about the holocaust, but you can draw the picture of Hitler and have a bunch skinhead wieners writing comments hailing to his figure and get away with it! XD

I've been there, my sister has been there and both of us agree that the users have ruined the site. There are great artists to be found there, to be sure but there is quite a bit of rubbish you have to wade through to find them.

No. I've only had a few encounters with DA, and the quality control there is insane. Some of the photography especially is lovely, but then there are MSPaint doodles and crazy Sonic slash that people are uploading onto a site called DeviantArt, and then I lose faith completely.

Also, about 70% of it is composed of (varying degrees of quality) anime, which I really don't like. So...not the place for me, I'm afraid.

I've been on DeviantArt for more than a year now, and I really like it there. I think it gets a far worse reputation than it deserves, because I've never come across anything terrible or disgusting by mistake. I'm sure the people who complain aren't completely innocent of looking for questionable material.

I don't browse too often, but I've found plenty of great artists on there. MatttheSamurai is really fun to watch: he works with pyrotechnics, flaming weapons, and time-lapse photography and gifs.

I'll admit, though that a lot of the content there is fan art. Some of it's good, like a particularly interesting HTTYD comic by Duiker, but a lot of it is just uninteresting anime stuff.
