Poll: Diablo 3 including Monk

With the release of the monk, I was curios as to what my fellow escapists thought of the new development. Personally, I'm still torn between the Witch Doc and Monk for which one I would start with.

So, Escapee's, which class would you play and which do you think is the best thus far?
Also, what is your overall impression of the Monk.

I think he looks pretty sweet and that they have done a really good job with him so far.

Diablo 3 needed a new assassin style class however I think this class may be over powered for the first few patches.

Diablo 2 however had no problem with the assassin as it was always a nice player vs computer rather than player vs player character, but when played well.. it was a bro-class.

I would've said barbarian but it does get pretty old fast, as for the other classes their just a shoddy rip off and remake of sorc and druid/necromancer cross breed.

Let's see... Barbarian is as vanilla as it gets and Witch Doctor is just a lame copy of the Necromancer.

The new Wizard looks promising and I like him more than I liked the Sorceress. However, he is superceeded by the new Monk who looks AWESOME and it is only added by the fact that he's apparently RUSSIAN (Monks of Ivgorod). Think it over, think of all the "In Russia..." jokes, then think of Chuck Norris only with a Russian accent. Then look at this guy. Point goes to Monk.

Now I'm really curious as to what the last class is...

What makes you think it'll be overpowered? All we've seen is a few moves and that's about it...

I'm still holding out for the 5th class. C'mon Ranger!

If I had to choose right now, I'm uncertain what I'd pick. In D1 I played mainly the Rogue and in D2 the Amazon, and in D2:LoD the Druid, so you could kind of see why I'm hoping for a Ranger. But these other four classes don't fit my play style so much in any case. I will of course play them all, as I always do, but not a one of these four makes me drool like my old Diablo favs. Would probably go with Wizard. Not sure why since I'm not a huge caster person, prefering either bow, stealth, or lycanthropy, but out of these four the Wizard just seems the most interesting to me.

Everyone I know assumes I'm playing the Witch Doctor since I played a Troll Shaman named Witchdoctor in WoW and a Goblin Witchdoctor in WarHammer, but I really just can't get into him, prefering the Necromancer of D2.

Who knows, once everything is said and done, I could find myself playing mainly as any one of them. Or possibly all of them about the same.

Depends what kinds of Martial Arts he knows, will he be like most Martial Artists in video games and barely use any weapons and rely on hand to hand combos. Or will he bust out a staff and Nun Chucks and kick ass

I'm also in the same class, I don't think we can automatically judge that he will be overpowered based on one game play trailer. All of the classes so far seem like they have some pretty sick moves.
