So, I was considering getting the ole dreadlocks, but I'm worried this will somehow have an impact on my chick picking up skills. I already asked a couple of female friends, and most seem not to bother, but I wanted to direct this question to the Escapist.

Now, this is mainly directed to the members of the fairer sex, but I guess anybody can give me some input on this.

P.S. Max needs not reply.

Okay, so I clicked "I am too stupid to give a simple yes or no answer", and was surprised to see that two other people felt the same way...

Anyway, since I'm not a chick, my post has no relevence. So, hmmm...

Edit: Now four.

Ok, I'm not a bird (duh) but:

If you can pull it off, go for it. If you look dreadful (get it?) then you can lop 'em off anyway.

Oh, and: Tyler Durden avatar? Pretty sweet.

No white person in history has ever looked good with dreadlocks, The only white guys who have dreds are crusties and media students.

you'll be attracting girls with similar hairstyles. that's about it.. I mean, whatever you have, there's a subset of people that will find it adorable.. sort of a caveat of Rule 34.

If you were attracting women before the dreads, you'll be attracting them afterwords, just a different variety.

Doubtful. Also, they don't tend to like long hair; unless it's just me they don't like. I am so alone...

My only experience of dreads is seeing them on some daft waster lad in the Lower 6th Form... He doesn't seem to get many "chicks" if that's any help...

Is that Tyler Durden? I thought it was Robbie Williams...
You know, funny you should say that, that's what I thought when I first saw it, but if you look real close you can see Brad Pitt's face.

Also, today I have learned that most girls hate dreadlocks, and most escapist can't give a simple yes or no answer.
