Yes very much so, as someone who is trying to ween himself off caffeine I find even a coffee or coke in the afternoon makes me irritable when trying to go to sleep. It was probably less in the past though.
Anything stronger than Mountain Dew and I'm pretty much bouncing off the walls.
And I don't know what the fuck's in Vault "energy soda", but I've taken to calling it Vault 87. Because it makes me feel like a goddamn Super Mutant.

For myself I said yes, though they do take forever to kick in, the drinks themselves are terrible for you, and I get more kick out of a medium coffee for 1/8th the price.
Energy drinks have less caffeine than coffee. I just get annoyed with people that act hyper, its like red cordial, its psychological. There is an effect but it isn't that dramatic. I can down 3 and go to sleep. So can most of the people I know.
I drink allot of tea, but mainly because I like it.

I don't drink energy drinks/coffee very often, so I doubt I have high tolerance, and when I do, it still doesn't effect me. ==
It sucks when I have to get to be peppy and awake for something in the morning, gulp down some energy drink, and discover, to no surprise, that my eyelids are still drooping and OH GOD THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING.

Caffeine doesn't really affect me much at all. I don't don't drink energy drinks though, just the occasional diet soda here and there.
Yes. I shit in rivers after enough of them. And I guess I feel a little more awake. But mostly the poo thing.
Coffee and tea work, but only because I've convinced myself they work. I don't know how much the caffeine actually does.
For those interested, caffeine inhibits certain receptors in your brain, forcing you to produce more adrenaline.
Since I'm a jumpy as a baby rabbit on a trampoline with a spring attached to it, it's remarkably hard for me to produce any more adrenaline then I already do. A teensy bit of concentration and time seems to slow around me. It's pretty cool.

The only effect is not being able to fall asleep. I still feel drowsy after drinking one, but cant sleep.
Yes they affect me, but as I only drink them before/during physical activity I don't get crazy energetic they just keep me alert and let me go for longer. Only other time I drank one was when I was really tired driving home and I still had over an hour to go. Kept me awake and alert till I got home.
Pretty much this. I still yawn and feel sleepy, but getting to sleep is another matter.3nimac said:
The only energy drink I drink is Relentless, and it does have an effect on me. I used to drink about 3 every day, so my foot would be constantly twitching and I would talk quite a bit more. I've cut down significantly now, so now I can get a fair amount of sleep.
The only reason I drank that much was to counteract my medication, which makes me very drowsy and lethargic. It worked a bit too well.
