As opposed to a standard controller, be it 360 or PS3.

It never occurred to me that this would actually be the case, but I heard TotalBiscuit say it and I was wondering if it was a popular opinion or not.

As far as I'm aware, Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 are the biggest games available with this option.

I've tried playing Goldeneye on the Wii, which I imagine is a similar experience (correct me if I'm wrong), and I wasn't a fan. My arm got tired after about 20 mins and it was mostly uncomfortable and awkward.

Don't know about the Move, but the wiimote was fantastic in Metroid Prime. Other games? Not so much.

Probably depends on how well it's used, like any tool.

It's ok, but turning can be pretty unweldy at times, and certain things like waggling your move controller to perform a melee never quite seem to work when you need them to.

The PS3 move controller is totally viable, and even fun for single player, but you will get utterly CRUSHED if you try to use it in multi (it's kind of like the difference between controller and mouse and keyboard).

Does it work? Sure it does, and it even works decently well most of the time, but if you're a hardcore FPS player you'll find it much more frustrating then helpful, and it'll be a handicap to you more than anything.

Don't know about the Move, but the Wiimote is basically superior than dual-analog--and by the way, its main virtue is the aiming offered by a pointer, not any other kind of motion sensitivity--with two caveats: 1) when I move radically to the right or left I lose my connection with the game, and 2) my elbow hurts after a while.
