I dabble in console games when I see something I like, but I'm primarily a PC gamer. If somebody making computer games jerks you around, just don't buy their stuff. That's the advantage of your preferred platform being primarily third party in the gaming department.
Good point, but many people cant afford pc's,so consoles are their only choice.
Search "misconceptions about PC gaming"
Which, believe it or not, is also part of the problem why PC gaming is a minority (and therefore the "last in line" for developers).
At the heart of all this is development costs - because of this, PC version's are "last on the list" and usually lackluster, and developers are trying to make
everyone who plays the game like it, otherwise they will be on the street holding a sign saying "will program games for food!" - and if the (for lack of a better term) "console tards" don't like your game, your game isn't a megamillion hit in the first week of release, and therefore you fail as a developer and you can't make games anymore. Something is seriously wrong with the development costs of gaming these days, consoles are expensive, games are expensive, T.V.'s - speakers, the damn CABLES for the systems, the internet service, Strict and Unforgiving DRM, the nickle and diming, the planning of DLC
before the game comes out - celebrity cameos and in game advertising, hardly any exclusives... In order to make a profit you've gotta suck every dollar you can.
