Poll: Do I deserve a refund?

Well I purchased the new Disciples III Renaissance on the 13th when it was due out thru Impulse. I has an issue where my credit card was charge and and didnt recive my game. That was due to it going to my old account(which was hacked). I called Stardock and got it switched over and started to download it. After the download the game would not install no matter how many times I tried to restart the installation. I check all the forum and contacted support again but no help and now 4 days later im still unable to play. So I sent a email asking for a refund. My friend bought the same game on Steam and his works perfectally. Dont get me wrong I like stardock but I dont like being jerked around.

I plan on it. Im calling again on Monday if i dont get a response by email. Im out 40 bucks and plus my woman wont let spend another 40 to get the steam verison.

That's a new game, right? If so, you definitely deserve that $50-60 refund.

I feel bad for the people who bought the disk version in North America. The game wont even start due to a DRM issue.

You ordered and gave them your money for a product.
The product wasn't delivered, you contacted them.
The product was delivered, but it was a faulty product.

You can either get a refund, or have the game replaced by a working version. That decision could be up to them depending on your local laws though.

(Unless the inability to install the game is actually a problem with your hardware or software, in which case your best bet is asking for a refund nicely rather than demanding it.)

My computer more than meets the hardware requirements for the game plus I keep everything update on a regular bais. Its a problem on thier end.
