Somewhat. I would like to buy the current comics or trades but I can't afford to so I only buy the ones I really want (Watchmen and Scott Pilgrtim). I do however borrow comics from the library like Kingdom Come and The Dark Knight Return etc.

I read a few online comics but that?s about it. I read some of the bone series when I was younger but most of the comics I see in stores are super hero comics and they have never interested me at all.

I completely understand you in regards to the lack of interest for Super Hero comics, I can't relate to them in the least so I just never really picked up on them.

I absolutely loved The Walking Dead though because noone has super powers and it isn't even really about the zombies, they just provide the environment. It's all about the relationships and travels of a small group of people. Past the first trade i'd say zombies very rarely kill anyone and it's mostly people killing each other.

Same with Y The Last Man, the premise of that series is really intense and scarry.

I read comics a lot. I don't really buy single issues though; I tend to stick to trades ("graphic novel" always sounds really pretentious to me). You're much more likely to get a cohesive story from a trade, simply because there's more time for it to develop, hence why I prefer them to singles.

As far as the content of what I read goes, it really varies. Naturally, I read lots of superhero books, but I also really like Vertigo, and I'm a big fan of the Punisher, particularly Garth Ennis' run.

I used to, and I probably would but I am more wrapped up in video games and work now. I would be very happy if I could find some sort of collection of the original Marvel GI JOE comic series.

I only got into comic books a year ago and I'm now completely obsessed with them
I've spent hundreds of pounds on them, all DC, Marvel and independent graphic novels by Alan Moore and Mark Millar (Watchmen, Kick-Ass etc.)
I actually buy at least one TPB a week, catching up on everything I've missed until now. I just finished reading Infinite Crisis and ordered Crisis On Infinite Earths, then I'm gonna buy and read a whole bunch of Superman sagas like Braniac and New Krypton
I don't buy weekly issues because I prefer TPBs (as do most people, I think)

EDIT: Most of my closest friends read them as well. We talk about them a hell of a lot, maybe too much, but myself and one of these mates are also in a band so we first became friends through our love of punk and metal, then found out we both love comic books

I do, but pretty much exclusively in the trade paperbacks. Where I live (England), there are very few, if any, specialist comic book shops, but most bookshops seem to have sections for trades, so that's what I get.

Yes I read a fair amount of comic books, but most of them is European comics.
I heard that the original cartoonist of this comic died a few months ago. My sister used to read Douwe Babbert a lot.

I don't read too many comics except for the occasional Akira, Berserk and Genshiken.

I love comic books ! I like to see that the most popular series have evolved through times to be more modern. I also like other kind of comic books like: Walking Dead, Requiem and 3 Instinct (a French graphic novel). I personnally think that A Top The Fourth Wall is dreadful. I am really tired of these series of videos when people review BAD things why not do a video series where seomone recommends GOOD comic books series and tell why they are good.

for superman trades i recommend all star superman. Its what i believe to be the best take on the character.

just a friendly suggestion. From a fellow reader :)
Cheers, man! I've actually looked into buying it but I've watched the animated movie and thought it was a bit of a let-down. Still, I've heard nothing but great things about the comic so I'm still gonna buy it soon

I'll pick one up if I find something interesting. I like my art on the pretty side, though, so that rules out alot. ;)
No superheroes for me though, thanks.

I read The Watchmen and though it deserved every bit of praise it garnered.
I read the first volume of Fables and was intrigued and wanted to know more about the world.
I read the first volume of The Sandman and was blown away. I loved it and can't wait to read more.

Unfortunately I like reading novels too, and the price is something like this:

$7 for 20+ hours of entertainment with a novel (or $0 if I go to the library)
$20 for about 3 hours of entertainment with a volume of a comic book

The price difference is so vast I just can't bring myself to consistently purchase comics. I wish I lived in a world where comic trading was more prevalent - but my significant other and myself are the only ones I know that read comic books.

Yup. Not often since most series I like turn to shit but still occasionally.
I just hate when people refer to comics as "graphic novels"...
Comics is the wrong term though, what with it suggesting a comedy. Most superhero comics nowadays come closer to being tragedies. Would 'tragics' work as a name? That sounds way too melodramatic.

Anyway, yes, I read them.
