"smoking" a fork like a pipe.
belt= neckless
refusing to talk without some form of rhyming for a whole day.
stabbing my friends repeatedly with sticks. they didnt like it.
making obscure references that only I would laugh at.
screaming "BILL NYE THE NAZI SPY!" at ramdom people

It depends what "odd" is. If it's trying to stand out from the crowd, then no. I'd much prefer to blend in.

If it's my own personal morals and beliefs, then most likely. Although, those don't cause any actions most of the time.

The only odd things I can think of are some of the discussions that some of my classmates and I get in to. They tend to get stopped by the teacher, as they're a bit too far out there for school.

Wow, you just described me better than I ever could. I am the same way about every point you just made. Eerie.

Are we odd for liking this forum so much. Sometimes I wonder that, about me, not really you :p

Sometimes did this sort of thing in middle school. Spending a lesson or two crouched under the desk, responding to all questions with song, stuff like that.

Looking back, I'm pretty sure it was done to stand out.

Well, there is one thing that I continue doing to this day. Often in a conversation, what someone says would make me think of some reference. So I'd either mumble it or say it out loud, but in a sufficiently obscure way that nobody gets it. They ask me what I said or meant, and I pretend not to have said anything in the first place.

If they keep pressing, I would drop another obscure reference at the first opportunity.

Rinse and repeat.

I don't really know why I'm doing that, but it's amusing.

I don't actively try to be weird 'cause that's just posturing for nerds.....
I just tend to be a bit off-kilter in what I say.

I don't try to stand out for the sake of standing out, and i don't try to conform to norms for the sake of conforming and beeing normal.

I just do what i feel like, sometimes it'll make me stand out, and sometimes it'll make me fit in with everyone around.

Between the people you know, everyone of you all stand out in your own ways, and i don't see why you should care about what stangers you don't know and don't care about thinks about you, whetehr it's that you're "normal" or that you're "odd".

deliberately acting odd, or conforming to everything around you is two sides of the same coin, self-image-obsession, and a desire to have whoever sees you think something specific about you even though you could really just not give a fuck, cause you don't know them, they don't know you, and chances are you're not gonna meet them again.

I already have low enough self-esteem, I don't want/need that kind of attention

I don't do it on purpose, but I probably am quite odd. :/ I wear a mix of boy clothes and hippy clothes, and I wear a large blue scarf even in the summer xD

Ah well >_> I don't like the staring, but I really don't wanna wear what the other kids are wearing, it doesn't fit right and it looks weird on me D:

I don't try to, but I think I end up being so regardless. Does that answer the question?

I think I'm weird, strange and perhaps touching on demented, but hardly odd.

If you'll excuse me I need to rub lard all over my body and worship my snail god.

For this reason. No I don't. I look different to most others but I don't really act differently.

Look at my title.

Put on top of that fact that I also do that in public, and the fact that I boast about myself being 25% Communist and randomly hop around the place (not to mention the million other things), and you answer that question for me.

Nope, I'm normal, I dress in a t shirt and jeans, that are normal.
I have normal, slightly dark blonde hair and normal eyes.
I wear boring black trainers.
I have no freaky mannerisms to speak of, I have a fairly strong yorkshire accent, but not overly strong.
I'm niether fat nor overly thin.

Yet people still tell me I generate an intimidating presence and freak them out.

Guess they can see my soul (twilight zone music goes here)...

I'm weird, but I don't try to be.

I just don't have a filter for the things I say.

To quote myself, I'm a joint, and all you people are cigs.

I don't try to stand out, but I have been called weird/strange a number of times. If you do it on purpose it's just silly. I don't dress particularly unusually, but I suppose I do have some odd mannerisms. In fact, sometimes I can come across as downright schizophrenic.
