Heh, it is pretty hard coming up with a good name, isn't it?Sturmdolch said:The hardest part is naming it, isn't it? I named mine Seventh Circle Gaming, but I really don't like it. Trying to figure out a new one is hard as hell now. What did you all name yours?
Hey, I was gonna say that! I started a wordpress blog several months ago, but it's too personal to share with people I know in real life, so nobody reads it. So, in practice, it's pretty much just a diary, but it makes me feel a teensy-weensy bit better to know that what I've written is available for public knowledge and there's the possibility that anyone could read it, and maybe even get something out of it.A_Parked_Car said:I do have a blog, but it is really only for me to vent out what I have on my mind. Nobody reads it (literally...not one person) and honestly that is for the best since it is a really depressing read.
I used to keep a blog at 1up, back in the site's heyday. It attracted the attention of the staff there, including Carrie Shepherd, who then also saw that I was also a fan of America's Next Top Model. We chatted back and forth a bit, and then one of her writers for the E3 Show Daily dropped out at the last minute. She remembered my writing and asked if I wanted to pinch hit. That was my first paid game journalist gig.Onyx Oblivion said:Care to elaborate?Susan Arendt said:I used to. Helped me get into the industry, actually.
Pretty much..that and I wouldn't know what to write about.Riobux said:I don't at all, just because I highly doubt anyone would have any interest in my life and views enough.
