Nowadays I avoid cheats, but I used to cheat on the Sims games. (Building is fun, living isn't, I need money to build big mansions without working, etc)
usually after i play the game once then i use cheats especially in gta , but what drives me quackers is when you go looking for cheats on the net and they give you trophy or game hints and no cheat codes , but most games have no or a few cheats because they added online play like gta 4 that sucks
Cheats were always fun, especially in older games. I used them all the time when I just felt like messing around and doing dumb things. Especially after I've already beaten a game. They just added something else to do in the game.
I've never cheated except in GTA4 outside the story, and then just to mess around.
I really think of cheaters in MMO's bury themselves alive in a hole(I dont know how they will manage that but I guess they can find a cheat for it somewhere). to cheaters: It must be bad to see at your 27-1 stats and know that really everyone on that server is better than you...
I cheat only after I've finished the game, and it's only in games that cheating is fun, like GTA games, or in the Kotor games, I spawn many awesome weapons and armors for all my party members, and I cheat to get to level 50, it's just so much fun.
Never online. Just on some single player "overwhelming tide" type of games... like some FPS or RTS. Just giving you some unlimited ammo to deal with the hoards of enemies, or some extra hundred stacks of wood for a new building.
