Well do you? For me I am underage but I have never thought of the idea of drinking a pleasent one. So I sort of made a early vow to never drink any Alcohol and just stick to Soda. I just like to keep sober as being drunk doesn't seem to be good physicaly or mentally.

edit: I get it, I should try it before I condem it but honestly, I just don't want to like it, I have already a problem when I drink too much soda, don't want the same to happen...
Order iced tea with out ice. Looks like beer, people wont give you a second glance even if your in a bar.

I'm drinking currently. Finals are done, I've kept with amazing amounts of responsibility both with the Army and school, now it's time to relax for an evening with a nice bottle of wine.

Is this evil? No. Should you drink everyday? Probably not. Are there times to drink and go nuts? Yes. Should you do that everyday? No.

Nope, do not drink at all. To be fair, not of legal age yet, but have had the opportunity. I do not see the appeal as of yet. I also tend to keep a tight rein on my actions and manner of speaking, and do not really wish to find out how well I can hold onto a drink.

Of course, this may all change when I find a drink I actually enjoy and think tastes excellent. Until then, no dice.

Nope.

I've had a sip of scotch and it was shite.

Not my thing. To each their own.
I drink regularily and absolutely can't stand the taste of scotch. Just sayin'.
Scotch is the shit, dudes.. It's like jazz, you gotta force yourself to like it, and when you do... Whooaaaahh
Hell no, the smell alone make me sick. I used to drink it without a care, until a certain, all-too-close encounter with Mister Daniels destroyed that for me.

Don't mind jazz though.

... you silly, silly but yet practical niggah :{D
Then I am quite sorry to inform you that ol' Jackieboy is not scotch, but bourbon :{D

... you silly, silly but yet bearded caucasian
I never said it was, silly pseudo-black bum. It just happens to have destroyed my relationship with any strong spirit that isn't snaps (with a lot of herring and beer to go with it).

Tsk.

I turned 18 a few days ago.

I'll honestly say I drink on and off, and have done since I was 17.

My parents don't mind, and I never really drink more than six cans (although on Tuesday I had 6 cans and 3 glasses of rum and coke).

Yeah, I drink.

Once or twice a week usually. One night during the week and sometimes on a Saturday too.
Either in a house with my friends or when we're going out.
It's a fun way to take the edge off or break up the week when you have a lot of college stuff going on.

I was pretty apathetic towards alcohol until I discovered whisky.

Dear God that stuff is wonderful.

Im British. It's pretty much all we do apart from complain about the weather. Infact the booze is proabaly to keep our mind of the weather, that explains Scotland's conspicuous consumption.

Im not very inclined to agree with people who think "Drinking is automatcially unhealthy" because it isn't infact it's benefical in modernation and widely reccognised as such. Drinking is perfectly fine both morally and in terms of health if you just don't overdo it. Even the bilbe only speaks out about "Drunkeness" and hell Jesus brought the booze forth as his first miracle!

Also it's better to drink all natural products, many mass prouced Largers and beers use a lot of chemicals in their processes. Driking all natural beer, which is just malt, hopps, yeast, barley (sometimes wheat) and water is much better for you and actually gives you less of hangover than chemical laden drinks. Most of you local ales, bitters, stouts and craft beers are all great for this.

Wine is also good for you in small ammounts due to it's high anti-oxident, (and other things) content and again ideally comming from an all natural process.

So drink up my freinds! and take heart there is nothing to feer from good beer moderation.
Eh, one major problem, there are still plenty of negatives in drinking alcohol, even in moderation, they do not magically disappear of course, its got a sort of concomitant variation going for it. One would still be healthier overall to never start drinking at all than to drink alcohol for potential health benefits.

I'm a student in the Netherlands (I.E. the country where you can legally buy beer at age 16) Hell yeah, I drink loads. never too much, but yeah... a lot. From time to time I hardly drink for weeks on end, it really depends on how many parties are going on at the moment (I never drink for the sake of drinking). It just makes some things more fun.

Eh, i have a beer once in a while and when i go out. As far as getting really drunk (were talking loss of balance and/or motor function here :p ) maybe once or twice a year, or even rarer than that. Mostly on new years eve. Hmm, that's in a few weeks actually. :)

I'm the same. Although I can legally drink and have been able to for some time I don't like the loss of controll that comes with being drunk. And because I drink rarely and in small ammounts my tolerance is amazingly poor. That being said, I do like a beer or glass of red wine on occasion.

My advice, if you ever do find a drink you enjoy, is to have one or two on a night out with soft drinks in between. And don't let people tell you that you have to drink to have fun. Actually, being sober in a room full of slightly drunk friends can be incredibly funny

Very rarely. No matter what I've tried, it all has that horrible aftertaste that ruins it. Even drinks I don't mind have it. Wouldn't mind being recommended some though, as I'm willing to try anything.

I was allowed to try out alcohol in small doses from an early age, I don't enjoy the taste now any more than i did then.
I've been saying this for years, but not really sure if the taste of alcohol was the issue, until I recently tasted some wine my parents were drinking (as I sometimes do), and I found myself saying: "that would be delicious, if it wasn't for that alchol taste".

I drink mostly cider. I only drink to enjoy it, I never drink just to get shitfaced, and in fact have never actually been drunk.
