Nah I don't drink, but not drinking at a party has it's upsides. Like talking to drunk people. They are almost always more interesting than when they are sober.

There are a few reasons that I don't drink, the first being that ethanol is incredibly bitter in all the forms I've tried (vodka, rum, whiskey, beer and wine) and secondly because my dad is an alcoholic and his dad died of alcohol-related liver failure.

yes

right now, I'm drinking a mixture of venom mango and everclear (not actual everclear, the 151 proof kind) and studying for finals while my roommate plays CoD: MW2.

ok, so I might not actually be studying very hard.

After I hit the age of 21, I have slowly quit drinking. No real ryhme or reason, it's not as fun as it once was.
Once you're allowed to do something, where's the fun?

OT: I'm disgusted at the mere whiff of alcohol xl The first time I got drunk I mixed drinks (Cider, vodka, alcopops and a lager) and had a shot of mouthwash. Considering it was the first time i was drunk, I caused me to end up to constantly vomit so that I barely had time to breath. I thought I was going to die. ^^' (Silly me.)

However, some nice girl stood there with a towel while I laid out my insides onto her. :D I was going to thank her but I forgot who she was. :(

I love me some Jack Daniels and Coke.

I love me some Bulmers.

I love me some Miller.

And I love me some Chartruce.

By the way is there anyone here besides me that's heard of Chartruce?

I went to college and graduated... of course I do.

Was never a get-drunk-every-weekend thing, but when you go out with friends on weekends in college.. it is a common thing to do.
Now I usually get together with friends and drink, but more socially, rarely get drunk anymore. When youre in a bar, its just not as fun to drink a lot- its more about socializing.

But I do drink wine with a lot of my meals

I'd have a shot of the stuff most week-ends - I find it's not half as intoxicating as Tequila.

Yes. Not often enough. Reminds me I need to pick some beer up next CostCo trip. Their Kirkland mixed case is delicious and well-priced (less than $1 a bottle)!

Ugh...Tequila's never agreed with me too well. There's a place I usually hit up that sells EVERYTHING for only 3 euros each on a Thursday so I usually help myself to a few shots of the 'ol Chartruce then and there.

I do drink but not as much as I used to. The zenith of my drinking would have to be senior week of college. Good thing people took pictures or I would have no idea what happened that week.

I'm 21 but I don't drink. Didn't when I was younger and more rebellious. I don't plan to later on either. I've drunk at the one new years party I attended but I hate feeling dizzy.

Being a Big Lebowski fan, I really only drink White Russians, and only on rare occaisions. I've never been able to mix a good one myself... I will also note that when my friends and I have a party, we all have a Blacktooth Grin (Crown Royal and Coke in a shotglass) in honor of Dimebag Darrell. I have a lot of Pantera fans as friends...

I disliked alcohol, I was told it would grow on me after a while, but it is actually a form of poison. So I don't think I need it.

Drinking is not about getting shitfaced.
Even so, if you blackout you have had way too much, that is approaching death via ethanol, the most embarrassing death there is.
It is here (Well, if you're under 18, at least). You either get so absolutely shitfaced that you get raped by nasty old men -regardless of your gender, which DOES happen on a VERY regular basis, by the way- after you pass out and have absolutely no recollection of the previous night, or you don't drink at all. There is NO middle-ground here.

The people who drink solely to get drunk are alcoholics, and should probably get help.
...I'm sorry, I can't think of response for that which doesn't just amount to; "No shit, Captain Obvious", and make me sound like a total ass.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you entirely, I'm just not in the best of moods right now and can't think of a non-assholey response to that at the moment.
