Cheats have been a part of gaming since the beginning. But when you use them, do you feel like you have actually cheated yourself?

i completely agree with this post, after i complete the game i cab do what i want without feeling guilty. your point about less cheats is interesting as well.Z of the Na said:No. If the cheats were put into the game, then they are there for us to use. Generally, I try to beat a game without cheating before I goof off and have fun with stuff like "Unlimited Health, Ammo, etc."
Actually, come to think of it, there have been a real lack of true "cheat codes" in games nowadays. It's a shame, because stuff like Paintball Mode or Invincibility really made the game interesting, at least from my standpoint.
Damn you, I'll be there all night now!latenightapplepie said:No. Not against the computer. Since the computer is a cheating bastard. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheComputerIsACheatingBastard]

Sorry, I had to.
But seriously, I would never cheat in a multiplayer game, that's just silly. Against the computer for the purposes of obtaining shits and giggles, or beating a particularly difficult section that I don't have the patience and skill to beat the usual way, then it is perfectly acceptable.
I won't feel guilty for that.
