Dark hair for me, long, dark hair with a curl to it, then I'm golden :D

Ginger hair, meh... I don't mind, don't go for specifically.

I actually think red hair is a HUGE turn on, I heard on the radio in the car the other day that Katy Perry died her hair red and I literally almost crashed lol

Thank god im in a place for once to be totally sure of a topic of conversation , im with a red head and currently engaged to her and though my sense of humour (and my closest friends) have a tendency of saying something about that (though she takes this in very good humour and gives as good as she gets) i honestly cannot take her out without people staring at her without having jaws wide open , i cant believe my luck and i do agree men will NEVER! pull it off as well but theres nothing as attractive in my eyes , i think people generally like the "exotic" and though steriotypically irish , scottish and more of less U.K english in origin that does not mean its not exotic in a more close to home way.

sorry for the rant guys and gals, just guess im always gunna big up my mrs when shes the spitting image of haley williams :p

I have nothing wrong with most shades of red hair. I can't stand the really tightly curled, obnoxiously orange hair, though.
Fair enough, and to a certain extent, I agree. Really, I won't generalize and dislike any hair colour or shade there-of. It's amazing how different facial features and body types look good or bad with different things. For instance, I have yet to find a pair of sunglasses that don't make me look like a complete tool. While generally, I have a problem with people dying their hair when it still has its colour, I have the weirdest soft spot for bubblegum pink. In the case of red hair, I don't mind most shades. However, there's that kind of dark, down to earth shade of ginger I absolutely love.

On the other hand, I've been told by many guys that my hair color (red, but not bright red- more of a coppery color) is really attractive.
Wooo copper. Perhaps the loveliest hair color there is.

Honestly, if I find the girl attractive (personality and aesthetic), I won't really give a damn about her hair colour.

However, if we're talking about hair as a primary feature, I like black (or dark) hair best of all (especially on pale women, the darker the hair and the paler her skin, the better).
In general I must agree with you. It largely depends on what I think of the rest of the girl, while I do have a preference for dark hair and pale skin, I really don't discriminate against any hair color and that includes redheads. I think it's a beautiful color on the right person though and it's allure is only added to by it's scarcity.

Nope, not really, ginger hair kinda puts me off, which is weird because my hair is that colour.

Right with you there. I generally just don't find red hair attractive... but that's hardly the basis for a judgment of a potential partner. If said woman challenges/tolerates/understands me, I'll be attracted, red hair or otherwise.

That said, all of my gf's have/had almost black hair.

I like Red hair. I'm pretty sure that's the appropriate name for it, but yeah it's extremely attractive. I don't even care if it's dyed, as long as it stays that way. x3

Harry Potter apparently has a thing for redheads, since he loves Ginny. She's a dull character besides her red hair, but Harry is too besides being a hero.

Only if its natural and only on women (but I'm a straight male, so...).

It's not something that could decide my choice of partner, though.

It's nice, but that's nothing to make or break anything over. That bright almost fluorescent ginger colour is horrible, though.

You kidding me? The majority of women I've dated have been gingers. Call me weird, but I love 'em, especially the natural redheads.

Ginger is such a stupid word. As near as I can tell, this is a UK thing, that bled into the US because of the ginger episode of southpark. I NEVER heard of gingers before that episode, and before I knew it, its use had spread nationwide.

Redhead ladies are so sexy. Take a scrawny, overly thin, homely-looking academic with big thick glasses, and slap on some red hair and you are looking at a veritable sex goddess.

The paler, the better.

Don't know why it works. It just does.

With the men, it seems to come with bad skin, generally, and kind of a flattish looking face.

I prefer other colors since that really, really orange-kind puts me off in all cases. and if its not the hair then the pale skin and mucho freckles that come with it
