Poll: Do you find STEAM support helpful?

Is anyone else a bit annoied that STEAM's version of support normally boils down to "Give obvious awnsers about obvious things that barely relate to the specific problem?"

Basically: Do you find their support service helpful or not?

Sometimes it's okay, but you have to end up on a really specific article.
I usually find that if I Google it, i have a better chance of finding my solution.

I find it and their customer service pretty damn awful. They have yet to respond when I send in a question about an issue. I have to go on a fetch quest on google for help and that usually doesn't work out.

edit: Why do so many polls get screwed up? I have yet to have that happen. Is it something you do or is it a random error?

Well if you have a particular problem, they're more than willing to personally answer questions you have.

Oh Blizzard, the only thing as bad as your customer support is Gamestop's used games policy.

Steam support helped me get my hijacked Steam account back in the span of a day, so they're alright by me.

I cant stand steam or valve's support, iv had a problem with Team fortress 2 for the past week or two, and all they have said is go search for the problem on the fourms or the support site.

By the way this problem stops me connecting to any team fortress server, give message steam validation rejected.

I had an issue with adding a retail bought game to Steam.

I put the support ticket in, within 30 mins I had a response, and within an hour of that everything was sorted out.

That's the only experience with Steam support that I've had, and damn was it quick.

They are good, I have no problem but it is not like they list weekly articles of possible game problems and how you can fix them, and shit.
