Neutral is neither disliking it or liking it, tolerable. No opinion is that you don't have any feel for it at all.Aris Khandr said:Isn't "Neutral" the same as "No opinion"?

wow. captcha's try to do some good for the world, and what do you do when it asks you to do a little bit of good? 'penislol'. oh, the humanity...Zaik said:I don't really ever remember the Escapist getting attacked by spambots, but I'm not really opposed to them or anything. I like to try to guess which word is the scanned word, and switch it with something else, generally "penislol", but sometimes I get a bit more creative.
I was wondering what everyone was on about with all the Captcha topics. I remember thinking "The Escapist has Captcha?"TriGGeR_HaPPy said:"No opinion".
As part of the Pub Club, I've fortunately never had to deal with them yet.
Trolling has never been easier? I can apparently do it on accident now.tthor said:wow. captcha's try to do some good for the world, and what do you do when it asks you to do a little bit of good? Why not pull a Youtube here and only instigate a capcha when people post too many times at once?AvsJoe said:I don't have to deal with them too often, which is a bonus for me. But it seems like quite a hassle, even a punishment, for everyone just to keep away the spambots. Like most people, I wish there was an easier and/or more tolerable way to do that.
its to transcribe thousands of books into text.Zaik said:Trolling has never been easier? What good does it even do, anyway? I mean, they scanned a word from...something? but can't read what they scanned, so we tell them what the word is so they can use it for...what?
Well, looks like someone's steamy romance novel is going to be a little bit confusing.tthor said:its to transcribe thousands of books into text.Zaik said:Trolling has never been easier? That would worry me as well if I wasn't planning on renewing my membership.Erana said:Why not pull a Youtube here and only instigate a capcha when people post too many times at once?AvsJoe said:I don't have to deal with them too often, which is a bonus for me. What I want to know is if my Pub Club runs out, will I start getting Capchas? Spin said that "Spammers don't pay for accounts," so by that logic, a one-time PubClub member should earn a capcha-free permanent perk.

That is actually the exact reason Captchas exist, is so that programs can't get through it, but it's funny that your solution is the very thing it's combating.kommando367 said:Someone should invent a program of some kind that can get through captchas if that's possible.
