Yeh, I've got one.
I like it alot. Some of the games look good already, but the major problem with it is that the consoles simply aren't up to scratch yet. Most aren't using 1080p resolution and basically lack the power to do what could be done. My reason for thinking this is the time I spent using 3rd party PC drivers to force games into 3D, the power of the PC allowed me to do this whilst maintaining full resolution and detail. They looked spectacular, black-ops/Arkham Asylum/NBA 2k11 in particular benefiting from it enormously.
Films are another thing entirely. The selection is fairly limited at this point(especially in the uk where pickings are slimmer for some reason. Also manufacturer specific deals mean half of the films are only available with the purchase of specific TV's or blu-ray players...which is shitty). But, I assure you that it's an obvious improvement over what you get in the cinema...sharper, more pronounced, simply...better.
I realise I'm in the minority here in thinking this is going to be big for gaming, but I'm willing to bet I'm one of an even smaller group who has experienced what it can do when backed by some decent hardware.
Love, peace, Panda.
