WITHOUT, shaving for like a week after having a neckbeard. Do you just let your neckbeard stay and not bother with it?

I recently lost my job and have stopped shaving, I have a full beard now and I don't intend to shave until I get another job. I also feel like a shut in

So do you have a neckbeard?

No. I do not, I'm not even sure if I can grow a neckbeard. It always turns it normal, and I like it that way.

Nope - never had and never will. I hate facial hair, or really, hair in general. I attack it all with a razor and don't hold back.

I do just out of laziness, especially over breaks or long weekends.
I'm just not one of those people who enjoys shaving all that much, I'd rather go with the "just returned from the dusty trail" and or scruffy look rather than perpetually clean shaven.

Nope. I'm rocking a Riker Beard.

The sexiest of beards.
sniff... my humble beard weeps at such majesty.

OT: I've had hair on the neck, but never looking like the pic being referenced. I always have a pair of mighty sideburns and at least a goatee, not shaven since I graduated from high-school.

I added a chin strap to my goatee once, but it only lasted about 3 weeks. I may one day do that again, but it'd never get past that. I'm quite happy with my Vandyck I've been sporting.

I do currently have a thick stubble, as I don't shave as often as I could, or should. But it shall be getting the razor tomorrow. I do need to get back in the habit of shaving everyday or every other, takes less time to get through the task.

I guess I did when I didn't shave at all. I didn't have that much facial hair growth at the time, but I still rocked a goatee that streched down my neck. These days I just go with a smaller goatee and my amazing sideburns. Will probably be a few years before I can get a beard. :(

All I can grow are rockin' sideburns. I could feed a family with my mutton chops if I grew them out.

The rest of my face...well, I have an anti-goatee. My facial hair grows everywhere except around my mouth and chin. It's pretty sorry looking if I get lazy.

I usually just shave every couple of days to keep my face looking semi-rugged without dipping into stupid. I never let it get into neckbeard territory. >.<

Not normally. I like to grow a beard but I try to keep it trimmed. During NFL season I grow a beard until the Steelers are eliminated from the playoffs. That one doesn't get trimmed or managed unless it is for a special reason (funeral, wedding, etc) and even then I leave it full length, I just define the edges and even it out. It usually is all natural.

Edit: For those unsure, a neckbeard is an unkempt, scruffy looking beard. It is called a neckbeard because it often involves hair growing further down then neck than a well trimmed beard would. This can be due to either laziness of the beardee in keeping it trimmed or because there is an awkward phase between neatly trimmed and full viking war beard. Both of those are acceptable forms of face fur in most situations, however the neckbeard in between is unsightly.

Only when I don't shave, and then it's not that bad.

I'm 24 and I still can't grow a beard without it being patchy as hell.

Yeah, I'm kinda fat though. Seems like a more overweight thing. When your neck fat starts competing with your chin, it starts growing a beard.
