I don't have it and very little people in my area do have it and i'm hoping I don't get it because this is probably one of the most important years of my life in high school with my exams(and I have asthma which is ment to be really bad to have if you have swine flu.)

My School had people with confirmed cases and I think my friend got it, either that or food poisoning. But now we've broken up for Summer there's little chance of me catching it, I be annoyed if I caught it but then again I get annoyed when I catch a cold.

I had it, about 3 weeks ago. I was pretty sick for about 2 weeks. However the case of mono I got when I was 22 was infinitely worse, I literally almost died from that.

I had the flu 2 weeks ago, but since i didn't go to the doctor because I'm not a panic-ridden SHEEP with media-fueled exaggeration of the actual problem the disease poses, I just stayed in bed and it went away. Most likely it was just the seasonal, everyday flu that kills more people per year than the swine flu ever did.

Yeah, no hassle. As it happens a friend of mine was the first person in his country to be diagnosed with Swine Flu. He was in Mexico and felt a bit sick when he got home, and the doctors gave him and his room mate pills and said he had to skip work.

He's doing fine now, btw, fully recovered.

Nope, but apparently one of the people I work with has got it, which is making people a bit worried 'cos we're working for the university and all living in one block.

But yeah, I'm still quite happy with my original "for God's sake, calm down, it's no worse than regular flu" analysis.

If I had swine flu, I probably wouldn't even tell it apart from normal flu. I've understood that swine flu actually isn't too much different from normal flu. It has the pretty much the same symptons, it spreads pretty much the same, maybe a bit easier now since it's a new and people aren't imune. It doesn't even have anything to do with pigs, it's a misleading name. It actually resulted in lots of egyptian pigs dieing, so using the official name is probably smarter.

4 of my mates have had it but recovered 2 of them have had it and are recoverin...i still havnt got it yet even though i shared a flat with 2 of them that had it im IMMUNE ARRRRRRRRRRGH
