It's lovely. Used to eat it with laverbread, a type of edible seaweed that is very popular in Wales (Richard Burton called it "Welshman's caviar"). Nom nom!

There's nothing better than black pudding, bacon, fried egg and a fried slice of bread, with a builder's strength cuppa. Of course, there's few things worse than that for your arteries too, but you don't live forever.

Oh hell yeah. It's a bit of a rare treat 'cos most shops don't seem to sell it, even the local greasy spoon cafe doesn't put it in their breakfasts by default... but they'll add it for no extra cost if you ask for it, so massive win right there.

Ok, I'd class myself as something of an expert at black pudding and it's basically oatmeal, suet, onions and blood(usually from cows).

I live a few miles away from Stornoway, which may as well be the home of black pudding. Charles Macleod butchers make a really good one.

It's possibly the greatest food in the world.

It can be used for things other than fry-ups too. It's delicious with carmelised red onion and grilled goats cheese, and it makes a great stuffing for chicken too.

I love black pudding, I live in sweden where it's very common. Most people hate it tough anyways. becuse well, Its pigs blood after all.

Mmmmm. Delicious. I've only had it a few times but it is good! The picture does make it look pretty disgusting though.
