I like "debating" with my friends, but every time I win, I feel bad. I guess it feels like I just ruined someone's idea of something, and that really seems like a dick move.

I only like debating when I realize I have a good chance of winning, or at least holding my own. I much rather prefer watching debates play out.

No because it always ends with someone yelling "Oh YOUR STUPID DUR DUR I'M RIGHT YOUR WRONG!" Every time I say something Republican here, some one always uses that phrase.
Er, have you even been to the Religion and Politics section?

If you get shot down there, that usually means your argument is flawed.
No I don't go there because when i do i use images and links and EVERYTIME someone always says "YOUR A PROPAGANDIST THAT MEANS YOUR A NAZI!
I don't know what you're talking about, as the members in that subforum are extremely intelligent, clear-minded individuals. I'm thinking that you're exaggerating.

The only problem you get with stuff like that on the R&P subforum is if you post links that are very biased, as in, Fox News.

I enjoy debating, but only when the other person is willing to be a mature opponent, and is willing to give in some areas, like I am. Being 17, I'm hard-pressed to find people like that, unfortunately (at least in my area).

Oh god no, I hate it, I cower in the face of any kind of contention. I'm easily flustered. I like to listen to other people debate though, and either nod my head or shrug.

All news is biased.
Note how I said 'very biased.'
Seriously, just look at some of the posts there. Nearly all of the people there are perfectly willing to hear an argument, as long as it happens to be a good one.
