Back in High School(those many years ago), a buddy of mine and I had this tradition going where we would Suit Up every Thursday. not for any particular reason, just because it looked and felt good. I think the only reason no one looked at us funny for wearing a suit in high school is because all of the football/basketball players had to suit up on game days. but damn it, it just feels good. whenever I suit up, I just feel more distinguished, and actually I start to act the part(at least for the first few hours, until the novelty wears off and I have to cuss somebody out for cutting me off in traffic). So Yes, Escapist, you should suit up because it's going to be Legen- and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second part is- dary!

I hate formal wear in general. Suits, ties, dress shirts, dress pants... I really don't like any of 'em.

On an unrelated note, I really hate how wearing hats is considered impolite...

Nothing better than suiting up. I have a habit of doing so on random occassions too, just for the sheer hell of it. My next time shall be next Tuesday, because it's my birthday. Oh yes, I'm cool.

It's only considered impolite to wear hat indoors.

Yeah, that. I don't like that. I look so much better with my hat on!

I absolutely love dressing up, especially in a suit. Unfortunately, since I'm at college, I don't really get the opportunity to do so, since I don't have either of my suits with me.

I don't actually understand why it's impolite though...

While I wouldn't actively seek out an opportunity to suit-up, I love it when the opportunity presents itself. Though...I never wear dress shoes with suits. Black or red low-top Chuck Taylors FTW (and I did this long before David Tennant played the Doctor).

I love dressing in awesome clothes. It's hard to know what situations are appropriate though.

There's no poll option for me (being female).

However, I can say that pretty much all men look better when in suits.

Hell to the yes. I always wear suits where possible. I own 5, one of which is tweed.

Yes, tweed Tweed TWEED :D

People say I'm too young to love wearing suits above casual clothes...

[sub]People think I'm weird...[/sub]

I like to suit up if my suit is comfortable. Wearing the suit does kind of make me feel powerful.

You can still suit up! Suiting up knows no gender bias! Consider 'suiting up' as wearing your very best formal clothes.

I suit up whenever possible, it's just cruise control for classy.

Kilts are fun too, though; they seem to make it socially acceptable to show people your cock.

A couple of friends and I were talking about this after we saw "Red" and enjoyed Karl Urban in his suit, comparing it to some of his older roles. Guys do look amazing in suits, that's no lie. Most girls will tell you that they prefer a man in a suit. It's not a status thing, it's more that a good suit will make a guy look incredible.

As a girl... well, I suppose I like the female equivalent. I'm kinda lucky that my job doesn't require the "suiting up" bit, but I do like the look.

I fucking love wearing suits. I do so at every opportunity.
If the word "formal" is even remotely mentioned, then expect to see me in a flamboyant red tuxedo with a top hat and monocle.

I hate suits... They're so uncomfortable. I prefer my worn-in jeans, a t-shirt, and a zip-up hoodie.

I would rather be 100% comfortable than look good.
Amen to that

My school uniform was what could be referred to as a suit. Blazer, shirt, tie, trousers. Bullcrap. The blazers were shite and the trousers were horrible.

I'm now in sixth form of that same school and I wear a PROPER blazer (worth £90), proper suit trousers, and a proper shirt. And I feel the shizz.
I'm now losing weight so I can get myself a waistcoat and feel mega-happy.
