Poll: Do you nickname your pokemon?

As someone who only ever really dedicated time to the RBY era, I never really got into nicknaming; there wasn't enough character spaces to make truly outlandish names. Plus I was always real annoyed by the lame in-game trading names, so I never wanted to put that on somebody else. Except when I was particularly young, in which case they were all probably called penis!

I nickname them all, just at different times. If I have a good name right when I catch it, it gets the name. If not, I wait till I have several that I have thought of a name for and name them all at once. Some particular ones include:

Lucky, my Absol with Super Luck that uses high critical ratio moves.

Sanguine, my Gliscor.

Pinion, my Klinklang.

When I was younger I did. Now it's just too much pressure coming up with a name that I like for every pokemon that I catch. Sometimes I'll give a pokemon a nickname if I regularly use it, but just in my head not using the game functions. It's also normally somewhat descriptive of appearance or function.

I never used to, but once I started reading/doing Nuzlocke I got into it and greatly enjoyed it.

I never used to, but since Black and White, I started. I usually name a fire pokemon Burnace, a portmanteau for Burn and Furnace. Usually I have an Ampharos named Cleopatra, and a Miltank named Cuthbert.
I'm playing through Blue again while waiting for X and I named my squirtle Viceroy for some reason.

I often nickname my party and/or favorites. Last time I played Pokemon I ran with a Spanish theme.

I nickname the 6 that are in my party.

In every single Pokemon game that I own, I name my Pokemon after the six party members from Digital Devil Saga.

Soooo...y'know...Yay.
