Whenever you see a topic that has a very small amount of posts despite having a ok-good starting post do you post in hopes that more people will post on the thread?

I personally do it but only if I have at least a tiny amount of input to the topic.

Also have you pity posted in this topc?

I do it if the post is really good and/or creative. If it's a Obama grrr or Cakes a lie? post, I'll watch it die.

If the starting post isn't too bad, then is it technically a pity-post and not just posting in reponse to the OP on a thread without many posts on it?

No I mean if you normally wouldn't post on the topic but you only do because of the low post count. Also I'll add another thing to the poll.

Sometimes. Because I've had threads that consist of walls of text that only get about half a page of response, so I know how it feels. Maybe it's just that people are lazy and don't want to take time to read on the internet...

If it's something I don't care about, then I'll just skip it because there's no use posting in a thread that doesn't apply to me. I do like to see threads with no posts because I get some sort of small feeling of pride when I post first on a thread that eventually goes on to be like 10 pages.

That's a good way to get Max-esque bans.

I really don't care for post count, usually when I'm looking at vids on the site I look for something with very few posts so that I won't be repeating anyone

Also what I really hate it when people make posts about making post just to get more posts for their post getting badge (that's a shitload of posts!)

Only if the poor poster is sitting there "bumping" himself.... god that sounded dirty.

Didn't vote. My option isn't up there. :p
The closest I can find is "Yes but only if I have at least a little to contribute."

Whether there are hundreds of responses, or only 4 responses about 3 hours ago. I'll post if I find the topic, well... good.
If I don't know what to say, or don't have anything of any great relevance to contribute, then I often just won't post.

But, again. If it's interesting enough, then sure, I'll post my opinion.
I haven't "pity" posted yet though...
This is probably also why I've been around this forum for so long, yet have such a (relatively) low post count. :p

Max fame would be something to aspire too, but what about "neonbob"?
He has 17,367 posts, whereas The Reaper has 13,759 (correct at time of post)

OT: I don't pity post often, but when I do, it's because I have something to contribute.

I do in Forum RP's and Game sections. I hate to see RP's die and Forum Games not lift off.

If i've got something i wanna say, it doesn't matter the post-count. Sometimes though i'll find something to say out of pity. Rarely though.
