Just curious how many gamers here play something other myself, since I know that lots of people here are metalheads and stuff.

If so, post a clip of yourself playing, if you can!

Myself playing a small section of "Silence Followed By A Deafening Roar" by Paul Gilbert (who I go see later on today!). I know, one of the bends (the C# full bend to an Eb) was a little flat in the recording, but meh, it was just a mess-about.
You like Paul Gilbert then? (I ask because of your avatar)

I've played several.
Glockenspiel: Played for 4 years with my cadet band.
Steel Pans: Played for 2 years at school.
Handbells: Played for 1 year with my brother's group.
Guitar: Played for 1 year.

Now I want to learn the Piano. And actually stick to it this time.

I play trombone. I have been since 4th grade. I've gotten some pretty good positions in some of the ensembles I've played in. I also write a bit. There are some videos of me playing in some groups, but most of them are from other people's parents, which means that they inevitably focus on their child and nobody else.

I'm busy teaching myself to play Moonlight Sonata for the keyboard. I've got the first page down so far. But I know bits and pieces of other songs.

I've played the keyboard for about a total of 10 hours.
That's only because we had to in school. I kinda enjoyed it, but suck at the general "one hand does this while the other does that" ability pianists need.

Err..

Bass Guitar, double bass and cello.

But I have no videos of me doing it simply because I'm not in a band.

I play the guitar, I haven't been able to devote much time to it recently though, as university is preventing me from having much of a social life :(

Mainly been playing guitar for 2.5 years now, but enjoy playing bass and drums with a tiny bit of piano and the electric triangle :).

I never realised that gamers were so musically inclined. Perhaps the question should be who can play a musical instrument well to narrow it down.

I can't play one myself, I've never had a talent for music or languages.

[small]Can't even go up to hard on Guitar Hero, the 5th button messes me up.[/small]

Play is giving me too much credit. I can make my saxophone give off a sound, but I wouldn't call it music -.-

I play a number of instruments. From guitar to the harmonica. I play some better than others, but I love playing anything. Give me a kazoo and I'll get down on it, and love every second of it.

I've played guitar for about a year and bass for maybe two at this point in my life.
5 years on Alto sax, 3 on Bari, 1.5 on Piano. Wanna learn how to drum. Badly.

If digital production counts, I waste a lot of time messing around in Record by Propellerhead. Cool program... Really cool program.

Here's a site that I'm somewhat involved with, due to how much work is would be to find a mic.

http://carbonatedrecords.com/

I play bass on probably half of those. I think.

I learned the piano at a teacher for a few years (like...four, I think?) and I've been self-teaching myself guitar (mostly trying to play tabs until I get them right), but I've also looked at some theory from some sites.
