I'm a cake man myself. I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to food so I end up not liking most kinds of pie.

I'm a pie kinda gal because blueberry and rhubarb pie are amazing.

Never had a meat pie, so I can't really comment on that. Maybe my local Irish pub might have some, hmmm....

They're frowned upon because they usually escalate into some shit-flinging flame war.
I doubt this would happen when discussing cake or pie...
If someone starts spewing abuse over cake they probably have serious problems.

OT: Cake. I don't like pie as a sweet, the pastry just tastes weird. Then again, I think we're more meat pies/pasties over in the UK. Whenever I go out to eat, there's usually about 6 cakes to one pie on the dessert menu.
The only pie I really like is banoffee pie. I prefer meat in my pies 8D

This is a simple question on whether you like cake or pie more. The person can also talk about which types of cake and pie he/she likes. They aren't frowned upon at all...just please stay on topic.

I forgot to mention my favorite type of cake is oreo cake.

Eh, c'mon, have some fun. It's not like a..well, COD vs BF thread, no one is gonna seriously argue about whether cake or pie are superior. (At least I hope not)

I don't really like either. I mean, they are alright and I have cake at least once a year (on my birthday .) I like cheesecake, but it really isn't cake...it's more of a pie...the world is a strange strange place.
