Just a simple question. I am asking this because, the gamer culture and the comic book culture seem to go hand in hand when they are depicted and I wanted to see if it was true or not. Also feel free to share who you like to read about and stuff like that.
As for me I have gotten into comics lately and now weekly visit my local shop. I read Spider-man, Venom, Deadpool, and Moon Knight

Not anymore.
I stopped reading comics when I was about 12. The closest thing I've read to comics since then is Watchmen, but that isn't a comic.

Use to be an avid comic book reader in the '80s, but died down quite a bit in the '90s. Havent actually read a comic book in at least a decade. Usually will read a graphic novel or two a year though.

Hellblazer, Deadpool, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, and...not much else. Compared to other people, that's a small amount.

I used to read the occasional Vertigo release, 100 Bullets, Y the Last Man, etc. But comic books can be a bit expensive for a short read.
I started to read comics that my local library had but way too often did someone take out like the 3rd or so book and it would be lost to the ages. I really wish the library would get on people's asses to return stuff like that. Eventually I stopped reading because way too often would I get really into a series and then oops non of the libraries in the system have 'X' number of the series, someone took it out and never returned it, tough luck.

Nope, not anymore. I've read some manga in the past and quite a few French/Belgian comics, but American comics never interested me. The occasional graphic novel maybe, but the superhero ones were a bit too predictable.
